Due to the Covid-19 virus, many students are required to attend virtual classrooms either daily or a few days a week. It has become a burden on the parents, particularly if they are employed outside the home, and has presented families with a stressful situation. JLC seeks to relieve that stress by giving students a supervised space in which to do their virtual lessons. Our remote learning classrooms are composed of students from area schools who are not enrolled as full-time students in the Jeter Learning Center. Remote Learning Students must supply their own district-issued laptop or Chromebook and earphones as well as pens, pencils, paper, and any other necessary supplies including lunch or a snack. Following their remote session, they will have ample time to complete any assignments given by their teacher and then will be allowed to participate in other activities.
